REPMUS 26

​​Teledyne Marine will be joining the annual REPMUS (Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping with Maritime Unmanned Systems) event in Portugal.

REPMUS is the largest annual unmanned systems operational experiment hosted by the Portuguese Navy, supporting the integration and interoperability of unmanned capabilities across NATO.

Participants will include personnel from NATO navies, industry, and academia, as well as observers from Australia, New Zealand, and other partner nations.

REPMUS 2026 is sponsored by the Royal Navy. The objective is to support the Royal Navy and additional NATO vehicle operators through experimentation that promotes the adoption of emerging unmanned vehicle capabilities.

Focus on Teledyne Marine Gliders and AUVs

The primary focus is on multi-glider operations for anti-submarine warfare, including:​


A secondary focus is a long-range covert ingress mission involving a Royal Navy Gavia UUV, using Benthos GDDOT transponders as navigation aids.

A total of 19 Slocum gliders and 2 Sentinel gliders from the Royal Navy, U.S. Navy, and German Navy will participate in REPMUS 2026.
